501(c)(3) Nonprofit Sanctuary · Farmville, Virginia
Hope and healing for horses who need it most.
We provide lifetime care for neglected and discarded horses and ponies, giving every one of them a safe, permanent home.
Our Mission
A forever home, since 2014
The Horses of Dunston Rose is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary. For more than a decade we have opened our gates to horses and ponies that were neglected or left behind, and promised them care for the rest of their lives.
-
Rescue
We take in horses and ponies that have been neglected or discarded and have nowhere else to go.
-
Healing
Patient, attentive care helps each one regain health, trust, and the simple comfort of a safe pasture.
-
Lifetime Care
Every horse that arrives at Dunston Rose stays with us, cared for and loved for the rest of its life.
Make a Difference
Help us keep the promise
Every donation goes toward the hay, shelter, and care that keep our horses and ponies healthy and comfortable. Gifts of any size make a real difference to the herd.
